WATERGATE MIX 5 CDellen alliens mix offers contemporary clubmusic featuring lots of special material such as the yet unreleased "hidden form view" remix by nsi, "all i wanna do" by bpitch control's latest signing "aerea negrot" and ellen allien's very own remix of uffie's smasher "pop the glock" on the mighty ed banger records. ellen allien's auto-biography while speaking to ellen about the mix she describes djing as her personal field for experimentation while playing new tracks and filling the room while fitting it all together: the crowd, the mix and the vibe. "i would play the first 30 minutes of the mix like this in the club" ellen says. "then i switch to what i would call a radiomix, presenting my favourites of the moment". ellen mixed this cd at home.
while doing that she once again noticed how much the music captures her brain with all its melodies and grooves. once finished ellen just felt like: "cool, which club do we go now?"....unfortunately it was a sunday night and ellen finishes it all with a big "thank you to watergate and all clubs and music lovers in the world...let's dance!"
