INFOSHEET DEUTSCHnachdem tomas andersson in 2005 auf so gut wie jeder top ten-liste des jahres vertreten war, folgt nun in 2006 sein nächster sturm auf die tanzbretter, die die technowelt bedeuten.
seine ep “copy cat” ist brett im wahrsten sinne des wortes. der beat drängt und drängt und drängt . was im ersten track noch sonar nach “das boot” klingt, schaukelt im zweiten track schon mittels quäkender synthies als kanon aus fiepsigen höhen und brummelnden tiefen richtung heimathafen, um dann im dritten track endlich in der hafenspelunke anzukommen. dort kracht die rock-snare, was das zeug hält und entlässt nach durchzechter nacht die letzten gäste standesgemäß mit einem trommelwirbel allererster güte.
tomas andersson wird also seinem ruf als rockender dandy mal wieder gerecht und kann nun glücklich an der schwedischen küste die beine ins meer baumeln lassen und auf’s neue auf das schiff warten, das ihn in die weite welt der dance floors mitnehmen wird. |

when “the other day” seems to sound like wolfgang petersen’s submarine in “the boat”,then the second track “copy cat” leads this canon of cheeping high notes and growling low notes safely to the harbor, where the third track finds its peak at the sailor honky-tonk. the snare rocks with no mercy and finally dismisses the dancers after this roisterous happyness into the dawing morning with a last drum roll.
tomas andersson confirms his reputation as a rocking dandy afresh and is looking for the next ship that takes him to the dance floors of the world. |
