BPC078 - DEUTSCHwas wissen wir über tomas andersson? er kommt aus schweden, ist dort und an exponierten plätzen der welt dj und live-act. die erste bpitch-release „the rock acid“ hat einen recht bekannten münchner dj hell-auf begeistert. also remixte tomas andersson dessen track "keep on waiting". nun etabliert sich der skandinavier mit seiner zweiten veröffentlichung auf bpitch control.
wie hört sich das an? es ist die geschichte einer jederzeit denkbaren nacht, sie wird erzählt in einprägsamen basslines und beats. als „minimal mama“ erklingt, ist der abend zwar noch jung, er zeigt aber schon sein gesicht: eher ein peitschenhieb denn eine sanfte briese. das motiv erinnert an den bass des guten alten „popcorn“, nur treibt dieser hier offensiv und angezerrt. bpitch controls’ definitiver beitrag zum berliner sägezahn-techno kommt aus stockholm!

how does that sound? it's a story of any given night that is told with memorable beats and bass lines.as "minimal mama" fires up, the evening is still young but already showing its face: rather have whiplash than a soft breeze. the motif reminds one of the bass on good old "popcorn" however this one is pushing the offensive in a taught way. this is bpitch control's definitive entry for the berliner sawtooth techno coming out of stockholm!
"2003-05-07" confirms our predisposition since the track simply zaps directly to the intoxicating climax of the night. the "2003-05-07" theme stumbles mistakingly and dark over the straight beat.
