SASULA FESTIVAL AT WMF/BERLIN finally! we are pleased to present our new baby: sasula festival. it will all be launched on 29.05.2009 at the wmf club in berlin. sasula sees itself as a series of musical events of the highest caliber coupled with hedonistic laissez-faire. the new wmf combines a concert atmosphere with an intimate club feel and is preparing itself to be the ideal platform to realize our acoustic and visual fantasies.
on the concert floor we're excited to welcome bands such as telefon tel aviv for their highly anticipated first appearance in europe since the completion of their album “immolate yourself”. in addition, rosalind's unique voice and paul aka moon unit will raise the room temperature with their live show. the audio-visual performer planningtorock has more than her mask- she also has a bunch of killer beats from the get-go. last but not least, we present the norwegians ost and kjex out of oslo, who will close the evening in their usual magnificent style.
the club floor is demarcated as 4 to the floor. besides the rather minimal live sets from heartthrob and thomas muller, the women will bring some massive grrl power and tear down the walls of wmf. ellen allien, chloé, and heidi are the wizards of tech, and the greek, mr. statik will also mix in top form- guaranteed. visuals are of course provided by the pfadfinderei vj team.
